Tuscany is split up into different wine producing zones, each one offering different types of wine like: Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano, the Supertuscans from Bolgheri, Carmignano etc.
With Camillo’s Way you can choose the areas you want to visit and sample their wines with some of the best local gastronomic produce that can all be combined with a historical tour of the area.
Every tour, in English, will be led by me personally or one of my colleagues in very spacious air-conditioned mini-buses to make the experience as relaxing as possible; if you wish we can also organize individual tours or include you, if on your own, to one of our group tours. The tours are designed to host a maximum of 8 people.
The tours start from a prearranged meeting point or directly from where you have arranged accommodation. The tour will have a clearly mapped out itinerary including destinations, famous wine cellars, tasting and commenting on the wines, complete explanations of wine production in the area, lunch in one of the characteristic local eateries before heading back to Florence or your lodgings.
It will also be possible to purchase directly from the producer more than just wine, such as Tuscan olive oil and other local specialties.
